the shins - new slang

sold a bunch of stuff at buffalo this weekend (stuff that i forgot to capture in my canon before parting ways, opps) and on my walk home i picked up a few new things on sale at u.o. including this black and white stripped jumper.

every year i can't wait to wear this blazer when it starts to get cold. it's little, and warm, and perfect.

ironically was just talking to ariel about how our mom's old pics definitely add to our personal style inspiration ( i'm still inspired). will try and steal some the next time i go home and post!

isshoes::: pt. 2

horrible shoe inventory went ok. i set them all out (well most of them) like i mentioned earlier. then i starred at them and tried some on. hmm who shall i rescue and who shall abandon (can only keep like 25-30 pairs due to space issues and my peace of mind).

then i got overwhelmed and took a break for brunch and cold october air. this is my new thrifted grannie shirt by the way. its a huge plus size and a creepy grannie print. so it works for me.

time to face the music

and 24 hours later here are the survivors...

i managed to squeeze them all into cubbies on the closet door and the floor and shelf.

and in more cubbies inside the closet. sorry for the stuffed closet pic (gross, yes, but i just close the door and try and forget about it).

isshoes::: pt. 1

i edit my shoes like 2x a year. 1, because i never have enough space and 2, because i'm not a huge shoe person. i would love to only have a few pair that i wear all the time.
thought i'd place them all on the floor to start digging in - my hope is to only have 20-25 in total that may be too aggressive. stay tuned.
