how was thanksgiving? i spent the day the with these two and the rest of my family.
lil sis and lil cousin when they were kids and not taller than me.
the prettiest wild flowers ever. my mom grew them from actual seeds. if i had a garden like the one at home i'd grow the same.
my favorite 2 guard dogs. if you look really closely you will see scout's dark face next to emma.

Long weekend at home:::

marigolds live by the front door in the sun for now
my contribution to thanksgiving (i sliced)

mom's new bead project... she is taking classes and making bracelets and necklaces
scout turned 2 this november. he is a full grown boy now.
but he can still scrunch into a pretzel to nap.
didn't say good bye to scout tonight...its just too hard.
went home to say happy birthday to the old man and wore my new chunky heeled oxfords.
but before i left the city i updated the shops. out with the old and in with the new.
too bundled up on thursday, tee shirt on friday, then layers on saturday. i'm not very good at season transitions.
went home for mom's birthday:)
she got carrot cake because it's my favorite.
and my aunt rasheedah was there visiting. she took me to mosque when i was little. wish i could remember!

and of course i hung out with my favorite dog. scout.
father's day in montclair: we had veggies and dill dip and chips and onion dip from wholefoods and then vegetable lasagna (frozen) and salad. the best rolls ever. and mini cupcakes from wholefoods. carb overload but definitely worth it.
scout missed me. or maybe i missed him.

the sun came out for 6 minutes.
georgia and i have matching pink toes!!
bought turquoise & green earrings off the street at a fake and lonely flea market last month. why are all of the flea markets in nyc so sad and awful now? don't even get me started on the sals here.
attempting a headstand - never made it up.

went home to say hi.

more flowers at home.

m drove so i brought back the cappuccino maker that i've wanted forever (daydreams of soy chia). a tiny spider crawled out of the box! it was cute not scary.

leftover clothes that ariel didn't sell at her yard sale. some vintage is just too great to donate so i carried them home to bring to a gate near you soon. TO SELL.

she let me take her vintage gucci to borrow while shes in colorado all summer. yay.

peonies are back and ready to be bought by me and live in my apartment. bought a bunch and spread them around 2 here, 3 there. my favorite flower of all time definitely or for now at least! then i went home for mother's day and saw what my lucky parents are greeted with everyday outside of their back door.

me - at home taking pictures of myself always
scout & my birks (my feet are 195 years old, have i told you that recently?)
we all made tacos - its was pretty fun. contemplating my own taco night.

and just to loop you in on my boring daily wear here are some pics from last week (sad for me, life is too short to be so boring looking but sometimes - like when it rains or is cloudy EVERY SINGLE DAY i just don't care).
its getting annoying how much i need new jeans. vintage shirt and japanese canvas sneaks.
wearing the hell out of this bag - but its 2nd, 3rd and 4th hand tho - will fall apart if i don't give it a break.
