Got this thrifted dress hemmed a few weeks ago. the lady at the cleaners insisted on keeping the ruffle trim. the bottom feels big. and it feels girl.

what he wore today: m
trying to sell my life away
on ebay. so over it.
saving a few fun tid bits for the long-awaited etsy store.
i hate stuff
i think i'll start wearing this amber ring again. i've been borrowing it from my mother for about 6 years now.
thrifted this dress last week and spent too much $. has holes but the cotton is really soft. since its like 70 degrees in new york today no tights for me just AA knee-high socks compliments of ariel.
christmas morning

mills (millie) and a squeaky toy. love her.
why are paw prints so cute?
even the dirty kind
and poor scout stood (like LITERALLY) and watched with envy :( he wants to play with the girls so bad. do you like his christmas necklace?

double your pleasure...

double your fun? i think that's how it goes. here's 1 of the dresses x2 from my h&m spree last month:
2 of my favorite things - - stripes and pockets!!!
a picture of me opening a bundled up christmas gift at work from ms blockett courtesy of her new bb storm

snow globe central today. embroidered dress and thick tights kept me warm.

last friday: i wake up and think to myself that i've outgrown my blog. style diary - i get it. my style aint changing so what am i looking at? shall i evolve my onlineness? or just do something else?

saturday
: go to my aunts house for the weekend and forget my canon there. is that a sign? (i also left all the jewelry i was wearing and ariel left her nalgene bottle and my mom left pictures. that part can't be a sign - i just think we are all a bit crazy).

monday
: my aunt says she'll send my camera, i don't miss it. hmm...altho i did take a few pics down there that i want to post.

today: it snowed :) wasn't the good kind, it was a wet mess and my hair got wet and ugly. but whatever it was still exciting. couldn't really capture the pretty fluffiness of the snowflakes with loaner cam.
i did my recession proof christmas shopping today: less people on the list and the people who made the list are getting a lot less. easy! i think this is my favorite gift that i bought. its a turkish evil eye with elephants. i imagine it hanging on the window or a small scrap of wall. i always want what i buy for others. blahhh.
school uniform for reals. just kidding, but it could be.

question, does this jacket stay or go? ( quick background: need to consolidate badly butttt it is vintage leatha and one of my older finds) keep or sell? help.

i don't really wear graphic tees too much anymore but this rabbit in hi-top sneaks with fangs was a gift from costa rico. thanks ariel, its super soft and i like the way the sleeves fit.
old dress from last year. its like a halter top and heavy because nothing holds it up, that's what i get with f21.
blast from the past.
(before rottenapples was born).
a peek at a few of my favorite pics from paris:
obsessed with the streets and buildings. all of them.

i feel like most french think the lights are so tacky,
of course i love it, ha.
i love the scent of pine in december. and i love christmas trees always. or vice versa.
gold buttons and trim!!!! on my vintage velour liz claiborne.

flannel!

Puppy Love

went home for thanksgiving and met these two cute little girls (if your asking, yes my parents home is a bit of a zoo).
this is the smaller one - shes so so fast and smart and tiny
no official names yet but i suggested naming this one millie. shes super friendly and she likes to eat. like A LOT. i heard them call her fat stuff :( awww. kinda looks like i'm squishing her but she does this thing when you pet her - she crouches down low and lays her head on her front paws - its sooo cute.

the huge ears - i die
ok so they can't play with scout for obvious reasons: he's A GIANT and they are babies. seriously, he got bigger and is like my size now and really strong. BUT they all seem to love each other a lot and want to play dog games. see

this is not helping my puppy fever. sadface
its official - the baby moccasin boots are dead. the hole i once showed you here got bigger and i was literally walking on pebbles all day. gonners.

NEW STUFF. ahhhh where do i begin? courney's new crush encouraged me to stop by h&m today and i don't mean george. got new stuff that all looks like my old stuff. surprise. in case you haven't noticed i've been trying my HARDEST to avoid wearing jeans tucked into my tall boots. (proally won't last too much longer hello my legs are cold and i do miss the 70's aesthetic it provides). so anyway the easiest way for me to avoid the been there done that for too long boot jeans thing is to 1. stick with my grannie boots and 2. wear dresses n skirts. so i got a bunch of dresses and i think i'll try this one first (please don't mind the log cabin thermals obv).

suppose to be organizing my life right now and by life i mean closet but needless to say...that is truly an ambitious task, a task that may have begin tomorrow and not today! i've only eaten a hand full of oreos so i'm not feeling strong enuff to battle that thing...argh...that CLOSET. so instead i'm organizing my blog :) switched out mgmt's electric eel with daft punk on that lil player and i added a new label "ok i won't wear jeans today". that was a lot. now i'm tired.
freezer box in nyc this week calls for WOOL!
found a toggle coat - no school boy wooden button :( but its LONG and warm and the hood is killer.

my old shabby pea coat and favorite plaid scarf

its hot then its cold then its warm then its cold then is hot then its cold and it drizzles the entire time. thrifted: ethnic tunic dress thing, gucci bag, cardigan & sweater vest.
