found a new secret garden. i could live here.
i had an aunt with a huge secret garden like this, all of the flowers and bushes were taller than me...have i told this story? anyway, we would play in it for hours, it looked so out of place next to everyone's perfectly manicured lawns and hedges which made it even more fun. We'd find the little stone pathways and hidden iron stools and wooden benches and bird baths and play for as long we could. 20 years later and i guess i'm still obsessed.
proally the best $15 i spent all june: lovely loafers (would have only spent $3 to $5 elsewhere but we all know how nyc thrift shop prices are LAME)
i've been drinking huge cups of agua and moisturising like crazy... and i can FINALLY see a difference.
new jeans - they're just ok but i needed them so badly that i've been wearing them almost everyday.

looking for another pair to buy with the next pay check because i'm down to nada.
Another week of rain left with me with wasted tickets to Explosions In The Sky (you can listen here). i really needed to be to be at this show - so sad. so ok, on a less miserable, the constant rain and clouds make feel as if my life is slowly slipping away note - i saw alexa chung in the ele at work, ooooooooooo! lovely and very thin, like not there skinny but still lovely. she remains on my celebrity fashion crush list: here.
AND since i've been feeling so anti-sandal, i got new boots that i saw on freepeople.com but they are too dark and too big so i'm returning.
